Our commitment
Your privacy is foundational to what we build. MatraBloom is a postpartum wellness companion, and we understand how personal your recovery information is. We collect the minimum information needed to run the app and website, we do not sell your personal data, and you can request deletion of your data at any time.
Information we collect
From the website
- Contact form / waitlist information — if you provide your name and email, we use it to respond to you and (where applicable) to keep you updated about MatraBloom.
- Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics-style analytics (Firebase Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site, which pages are helpful, and how many people find their way to the app. Aggregate, not individually identifiable health information.
From the app
- Information you choose to log — check-ins, mood entries, journal entries, and recovery progress you record inside MatraBloom are stored to deliver the app's core functionality, secured and accessed only as needed to run the service.
- Account information — basic account details you provide to sign in.
- Purchase information — processed by the app store (Google Play). MatraBloom does not store your payment card details; the relevant app store does, subject to its own privacy policy.
How we use information
- To provide, personalize, and improve MatraBloom and this website.
- To respond to your questions and feedback.
- To understand aggregate usage patterns so we can build more helpful content and features.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers we rely on to run the product (such as Firebase / Google Cloud hosting services), who process it on our behalf and under our control. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights.
Data security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and protected using industry-standard security practices. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service. You may request details of, or deletion of, your personal data at any time.

Children & sensitive data
MatraBloom is designed for adults. Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Postpartum and other health-related information requires heightened care; we recommend reviewing with your healthcare provider how you use any wellness application.

We may update this policy as MatraBloom grows. The "last updated" date on this page will always reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted in your notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
