For professionals
Reach mothers in the weeks after birth, where they already are
MatraBloom is a postpartum recovery app used by mothers in the first year after birth, many of them after a caesarean. They open it most days to check in, move and read. A listing puts your practice in front of them at the moment they are looking for help, and gives you a code your own clients can use to join the app.
Who this is for
- Postnatal and birth doulas
- Lactation consultants (IBCLC and equivalent)
- Pelvic health physiotherapists
- Perinatal therapists and counsellors
- Scar massage therapists
- Postnatal nutritionists and dietitians
What a free listing gives you
- A public profile page on matrabloom.online, in search, with your training, the countries and languages you work in, and a link to your own website and booking page.
- A place in the directory mothers see in the app, filtered to their country and language, once the directory launches.
- A code for your clients. A mother who joins with it sees your name on her home screen for her first week, and you see how many joined.
- A dashboard to edit your listing, pause it, and see how often it is opened.
How it works
- Apply in about ten minutes. Create an account, describe your practice, name the body that trained or registers you, and make four declarations: you are insured, you work within your training and your country's rules, you will never ask a mother for her app data, and you accept the Professional Agreement.
- We check your training. We look up your certificate or registration with the body you named and record the date we did. Your listing then says "Training checked on <date>". It never says verified, approved or recommended, because we are not in a position to judge your practice, only to confirm the document.
- Go live, share your code. Your page is published and indexed. You get a code to give clients. When the in-app directory launches, mothers in your country see you there as well.
Coming next: Pro
A paid tier is planned once the directory is live, priced for independent practitioners, with a separate price for India. It is optional; the free listing stays free.
- Messages from mothers inside the app, answered from your dashboard
- Priority placement in the directory
- Several service cards with prices, instead of one profile
- A client counter for your code
What we ask of every professional
- Professional indemnity insurance, kept current.
- Work within your training, your licence where one exists, and the rules of the country the mother is in.
- No outcome claims on your page: nothing cures, heals or guarantees.
- Payment, scheduling and the care itself happen between you and the mother, on your own terms and tools. MatraBloom is not party to it.
- Never ask a mother for what she records in the app. Her check-ins, journal and programme are hers.
What MatraBloom is not
- Not a referral service, a clinic or a provider of care. The directory lists independent professionals who are responsible for their own practice.
- Not a payments platform. We do not take a cut of what you charge and we never hold a mother's money.
- Not a substitute for your own website, insurance or professional body.
Questions professionals ask
How much does a listing cost?
Nothing. The free listing includes your public page, your place in the directory when it launches, your client code and the dashboard. A paid Pro tier with messaging and priority placement is planned; it is optional.
Does MatraBloom take a commission on bookings?
No. Mothers book and pay you directly, on your own booking page or in your own way. MatraBloom never handles the money and is not party to the booking.
Who can list?
Postpartum professionals with a recognised training or registration: doulas, lactation consultants, pelvic health physiotherapists, perinatal therapists and counsellors, scar massage therapists, postnatal nutritionists. You must be 18 or older, insured, and working within your training and your country's rules.
What does "training checked" mean?
We looked up the certificate or registration you named with the body that issued it, and we record the date. It is a check of a document, not an endorsement of your practice. Listings are never described as verified, approved or recommended by MatraBloom.
Will I see any of a mother's health data?
No. Nothing a mother records in the app, her check-ins, journal, programme or weekly checks, is ever shared with a professional. When messaging launches, a conversation carries her name and what she chooses to write, with her consent, and nothing else.
Which countries can I list in?
Any country where you are entitled to practise. Mothers using MatraBloom are mainly in India, the United States and the United Kingdom, with others across Europe, Brazil, Indonesia and the Gulf. You choose the countries and languages your listing appears for.
How long does approval take?
Usually within a few days. We check the training body you named, read your page for outcome claims, and email you either way. If something needs changing we say exactly what.
