Week 9 postpartum: consistency beats intensity
General guidance, not medical advice. Follow your own provider’s clearance. Read our Medical Disclaimer and Editorial Policy.
There is rarely a dramatic physical change this week. What tends to shift is capacity: sessions feel less like an event and more like part of the day.
Sleep is usually still the limiting factor rather than fitness, and training through profound tiredness reliably produces a bad week afterwards.
What is most worth attending to
Frequency over effort. Short and regular does more here than occasional and hard.
